Happy Monday!!
I am so glad it’s fall and that Halloween is over. I’m sorry, but it just isn’t my favorite holiday.
My kiddos LOVE it, though, and that makes it worth it.

Happy Halloween!
This time of year is so fun. It’s just a great time to party with friends, neighbors, and family.
Dressing up in costumes and eating all the goodies is a huge bonus,
plus, it is the start of the holiday season.
So, without further ado,
we move onto Thanksgiving.
Ok, I know it isn’t the season quite yet, but when Hobby Lobby starts putting up Christmas stuff I figured why not!?
I don’t know about you but Halloween always seems to be a busy day, especially when I had younger children at home. So, I am always looking for quick and easy meal ideas for this fun day. Don’t you think the food and treats are the best part? That’s why I don’t think fast food shouldn’t be an option. Below I’m sharing some of the best ideas I found. I hope they inspire you and help you during your busy Halloween.
Wouldn’t you love to eat any of these for dinner? Links are below.
I’m sorry it has been a while since I last posted! So many new and exciting things are happening! My hubby and I just bought our very first home and we are beyond thrilled! Right now we are remodeling and changing it up quite a bit and I’m excited to share what we have been up to, but unfortunately it will be in another post, so look back soon!
Today I wanted to blog about something that I came across a little while ago and I wanted to share it with you. This is for all of you mommies out there wanting to have your little ones learn their ABC’s and sounds. Are you ready!?
THE AMAZING ACTION ALPHABET! It is a flip book that shows you the letter in upper and lower case, a cute story that goes along with the letter and the sound that goes with the letter. For example: Letter A
A the alligator was angry when an army of ants appeared on an autumn afternooon and took away his adorable apple. “A a a!” he screamed. (Shake your fists in the air while saying a-a-a each time A the alligator is angry.)
I’ve been seeing alot of crows and owl decor for Halloween and wanted to get in on the action. My local dollar store carries these cute crows and I also had these old bed springs I picked up at a flea market that I thought would make some great stands. I think candle sticks or spools would also work.
First of all I have to apologize for not posting this last week like I had promised in my previous post. Time just got away from me. Does that happen to you, too.
Lately, I have been having some fun with a few of my photos and the program “PicMonkey”. About six months ago I had heard about this photo editing site so gave it a try and have fallen head over heals in love with this it. Not only is it user friendly it is filled with fun ways to enhance and improve any picture you have. My girls have been thrilled with the program, as well, for quick edits. The site itself is visually fun and creative.
Recently, PicMonkey added some fun Halloween edits that I just had to use. I searched through my pictures and found a few that I thought would be fun if they were “Halloweened” up. Here are some examples:
Happy Freezing Day today!
Here in Wyoming it was blizzarding (I know its not a word!).
And while I was working today and keeping my foot up (cause I dislocated it. OUCH!) my poor baby did this!
I’ve been trying to think ahead for the holidays and putting together some yummy meals and treats for my family. Buffet meals always work well for our big group. We usually stick to some well known food bar ideas including:
I want to do something a little different than we’ve done in the past and I found some other food bar ideas. I thought I’d share what I found to help you with possible ideas for some fun meals for your parties and holiday meals.
