Have you ever had a sugar cookie that is so sweet that it’s hard to eat the whole thing? I’m not a big fan of a super sugary cookie with the gooey sweet frosting together. It’s just too much and I can only eat a few bites. This recipe creates a nice cookie that’s not too sweet and is a nice balance with the butter cream frosting.
OK, you all! I have found my new favorite dessert! I’ve never been able to make a good chocolate chip cookie. For some reason no matter what I do they come out flat. Lately, I’ve been putting my dough in an iron skillet and baking it that way and WOW! The crispy and melt in your mouth goodness can’t be defined. The chocolate chips kind of settle towards the bottom of the pan and the cookie dough crisps on the top and is soft and scrumptious underneath. The skillet is the secret, plus the huge bonus is that it’s so easy. No having to bake multiple cookie sheets full of cookies. Here’s my recipe:
