Just like so many others I’m a huge fan of farmhouse signs. They are so simple, but yet pack a punch when decorating in a farmhouse style. I also really like the way people are making wall hangings and wreaths with embroidery hoops that are so popular right now. I decided to combine the two ideas and create a round sign and make an embroidery hoop frame. Turned out to be so easy and I love the results.

Today I’m happily participating in another thrift store challenge. These challenges are so much fun and rewarding and I look forward to them every month. In my new home I have a large fireplace and mantel that I just love, but that’s where the TV is, too. I like that the TV and fireplace can both be the centerpiece of the room, but it’s hard to decorate a mantel around a TV.
