I was motivated by a group I am in to get some planting done. I’m hoping this gives me a head start so I can get on to some vegetable and other flower gardening I need to do. Each month this group finds something from a thrift store, garage sale or resale store to refurbish and give it a new use. To see what it’s all about read below. I think a Christmas tree is the centerpiece decoration in your home during the holidays. It says a lot about you, your style and what is important to you. I’ve had a variety of looks through the years including an old fashioned country look including things my kids made, a rustic cabin look and an elegant modern Victorian vibe. I will usually use the same decorations for several years until I get itchy to do something new. Well, this year is that year and I’ve gathered several beautiful new ornaments and created a Wood tone and silver Christmas tree. I think it’s one of my favorites! One of our favorite things to do during the holidays is watch Christmas movies. There are many that we watch over and over again and still enjoy them as much as the first time we watched them. There is something about Christmas movies that put me into the spirit of the holidays, takes me back to times our family watched the movie together and brings out emotions and memories.
