Hello Everyone! Happy Monday!
Today we are so excited to share with you this fabulous giveaway and the amazing company and bloggers that we have teamed up with to bring this prize to you!
Check it out!

I love this day. I have so many fond memories that have taken place on the 4th of July. Time with family, BBQ’s, and fireworks. Then there are the parades. Who doesn’t love a good parade. Relaxing with family, watching the excitement through a child’s eyes, and watching my children march in their parades. Such amazing moments!
Hello friends!
I hope you all have some fun plans for celebrating our Independence day.
I wanted to make something special for my girls to wear. The only place to buy some outfits here is Walmart and that means that everyone else in town will have the same stuff and because I am a procrastinator I didn’t order anything online. So, I decided to make something. Now I’m NOT a person that sews. I don’t usually enjoy it, BUT I do know how to sew and if I can do this so can you!
We had an awesome opportunity to guest post over at The Best Blog Recipes. I love the concept behind this blog. Shauna scopes all the best recipe blogs and re-posts the very best and favorite recipes out there. That keeps me from having to spend a huge amount of time hunting for great recipes.
We shared a family favorite of ours; a delectable and rich cake with caramel sauce.
Just in case you didn’t see our guest post we wanted to pass it along to you. You can find the recipe here.
Hope you are enjoying your summer. It’s hot here today!
I love Independence Day!
It’s all about our freedoms, family, and fun!
Thought I’d better get my behind in gear and do some decorating. Here’s what I’ve come up with so far.

Do you have some special momentos lying in a box somewhere unseen and unremembered? Maybe some souvenirs of an unforgettable vacation or possibly pictures and keepsakes from your school days? Why not create some memory jars to display so you can remember all those meaningful times in your life.
I made a memory jar to celebrate the birth of my son and whenever I look at it displayed on a shelf in his room it reminds me how little he used to be and how grateful we are to have him in our lives.
I don’t know what’s going on with me lately, but my skin is breaking out like I am a teenager! I was really lucky growing up. I used to have really great skin, but lately I seriously have zits that pop out of nowhere! My hormones are out of whack or something. The other day I was looking up some skin care products that had great reviews. I came across a company called Mario Badescu Skin Care and let me tell you, what a lifesaver! If you go to their website HERE, you can build your own skincare regimen and they will recommend what products will work best for your skin. (Combination, Oily, Dry or Sensitive) I have combination skin. BUT they will send you the samples you need to try them at home! Awesome huh?
After I filled out my skincare regimen, I got an email from the website. I simply clicked on the link that says “request samples.” Mine came in about 10 days! It came with your own product application guide to help you know when to use it and what steps to take in the morning and evening. It also came with a product guide.
Happy Monday everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful Fathers Day.

A couple of weeks ago my mother in law and I took a Saturday afternoon and made strawberry and raspberry jam. Strawberries are in season now and at a reasonable price! So, we stocked up, put our aprons on and went to town! I made a batch of strawberry jam and let me tell you it was a no brainer!
Here is what you will need:
Strawberries, Lemon Juice, Light Corn Syrup, Fruit Pectin and Sugar (not pictured)
This last weekend I was surrounded by so many gifted people and it proved to me once again that every person has been blessed with amazing talents all their own. Many have visual talents like art and home decor. Others have the gift of making those around them feel loved and cherished. Every person is different and should strive to develop their own talents and share them with others. It amazed me to sit in a room with 15 people with totally different personalities and talents and watch them create and associate with the others in the room. There are no words for the feelings that were felt during our two days together. Tears were shed, personal stories shared, explosions of laughter, art created, and lifetime friends made. To me it’s what makes this world an amazing place to live; each of us is so different but as we come together so much joy is shared.
This is art created by Leslie. She was amazing. I did take photos of other pieces but got home and had lost them. I am so sad.
