Every now and then I get asked for tips on how to arrange home decor especially on walls. I love giving tips that have worked for me. I have learned quite a bit throughout the years by study and trial and error, so I put together the following slideshow that might give you some ideas on how I go about decorating some of the places in my home.
Mexican Stacks

I recently had a layover in an airport and stopped into a cute Mexican Café and had a dish called a “Mexican Bowl”. It was similar to a taco salad but with no lettuce or chips. It also reminded me of a Hawaiian Haystack or the chicken bowl at KFC. Being a lover of any type of Mexican food I decided to make my own version of this delicious meal. This would also be great for any large family gatherings and is served buffet style.

When A Loved One Is Grieving
In the last few months I’ve had some conversations with friends and family about my grieving process after losing my son two and a half years ago. I’ve learned that many don’t know what to do or say to someone who is grieving. To be honest I really didn’t know myself before my loss, so I thought I would share my thoughts about this topic and what was comforting to me.
