Pasta Shrimp Salad

One of our favorite salads in our family is this Pasta Shrimp Salad. It’s perfect for a nice summer dinner.

Ingredients
  1. 1 lb. package of saladroni pasta
  2. 2 quarts water
  3. 1 tsp. salt
  4. 1 Tbl. sugar
  5. 1 tsp. vinegar
  6. 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
  7. 2 cans of deveined shrimp, drained
  8. 1 small package of Velvetta cheese
  9. 5 boiled eggs
  10. 1 bunch green onions
  11. 1 bottle of pimento or one tomato
Instructions
  1. Bring water and salt to a boil. Add pasta and boil for nine minutes. Drain and cool.
  2. Combine sugar, vinegar, and mayonnaise and set aside.
  3. Cut Velvetta cheese in 1/2" squares.
  4. Slice green onions.
  5. Combine pasta, cheese, shrimp, onions, and pimento or chopped tomato.
  6. Add the dressing and mix well.
  7. Fold in chopped boiled eggs.
  8. Chill.
  9. Add additional mayonnaise, if needed.
