Our Top Posts of 2015

Whew! 2015 flew by for me. Did it for you, too?

I’ve been taking some time to do a thorough review of my life including my accomplishments and what I need to improve on. I’ve been writing down some things I want to accomplish and have come up with my word of the year which is “Grow”. I really want to stretch myself in 2016. I don’t want to see little accomplishments; I want to see big things happen this year in all aspects of my life. I hope I can do it!

One thing I’m proud of and want to see “grow” is our blog. It is so fun to go back through our posts and to see what others have found useful. So, for ourselves and for you we want to do a review of some of our best posts. Our most popular posts from 2014 continue to do really well. Follow this link to read about those.

So, without further ado, here’s just some of what we offered last year. We love providing you tips, recipes, and ideas that have improved our home life and hope they help you, too.

Jessica took this idea and ran with it. Not only did she make one for her home, but sold several of these, too.

Brittany had a sweet baby girl last July and she talks about her experience in “Sydney’s Birth Story.”

We always have lots of Christmas posts, but I thought I would re-post this one because there are ideas here that will help you year round.

This is my favorite Valentine treat and it was super popular with our readers, too.

Jessica shares her feelings about this hard topic.

When there’s so many options in laundry detergent it’s hard to decide. Go see what we discovered.

These wood boxes are so easy and make a great statement for your home. Go check out the tutorial.

These pom pom flowers were a hit at our Vintage Market last year. Follow the link to see how Brittany made them.

Candy bar posters are perfect for any gift and we have the instructions and printable for this Father’s Day Candy Bar “BOOK” on our blog.

I simply love picnics and this basket was so fun to make and really comes in handy. Follow the link to get more details on how to make one for yourself.

There you have it. This is just a small sampling of the posts we published in 2015. Be sure to follow us because we’ve got a lot more in store in 2016.

Dru About Dru

There are so many things I could say but I will just start with the basics. Mother to 4. Grandmother to 11 (Yes, 11. All under the age of 9.) I am a former Army wife and we spent 15 years traveling around the world. It was such a thrill to have seen so many places and meeting lifetime friends. I spent many years working in the craft industry and love getting together with friends and creating. I have a lifelong love of thrift shops, antiques, and yard sales.
