Word of the Year

Well, it’s almost the end of January 2016…….Have you chosen a word for the year or set some goals for yourself?

How are you doing? 

We are big fans of choosing a word for the year.  The goal of this post is to hopefully motivate you to keep your little word a focus in your life.

I’ve gathered some ideas I’ve found from around the web to keep myself focused and want to share these ideas with you because they’re good ones.

Star Wars The Force Awakens

THIS IS THE WEEK! Are you as excited as the rest of the world is? Star Wars The Force Awakens has been long in coming. I have been wanting to re-watch all the previous movies before I see this new one, but I don’t have all of the DVD’s. No worries here, though, I found the perfect solution and I want to share it with you.

You may have heard about VidAngel, but if you haven’t it’s a streaming site where you can watch all the previous Star Wars movies for just a $1 per night with sellback. (To see how the sellback works click on the picture below.) There has been no problems with the streaming or picture and a neat bonus is that the videos have been filtered so you can choose parts to skip over if you’d like. You can also watch on any device you have!

Sydney’s Birth Story

It has been quite a while since I have written anything on our blog, but I wanted to document my sweet Sydney’s birth story.  I LOVE to read other birth stories and wanted to share.  My mom brain has been getting worse (am I right mommas?) So I wanted to write it down before I forget everything.

My due date was on July 15th, but I decided to be induced on July 8th.  I was so big and so swollen and I wanted to be done.  I was already dialated at a 2 and 90% effaced.  We were told to come to the hospital at midnight which seemed strange and I still have no idea why, but once we got there I got undressed and put on the hospital gown.
