One of our favorite things to do during the holidays is watch Christmas movies. There are many that we watch over and over again and still enjoy them as much as the first time we watched them. There is something about Christmas movies that put me into the spirit of the holidays, takes me back to times our family watched the movie together and brings out emotions and memories. Our theme today is “Movies” so I came up with a Christmas movie gift idea that you can do for most movies. Welcome back to year six of our Festive Christmas Event where we team up with a bunch of talented blogging friends to bring you a plethora of creative ways to celebrate your holiday season. Movies of any kind are great gifts for Christmas. How about making it a extra special by adding some simple icons from the movie you are gifting. The example I’m showing here is for Home Alone. What a great movie and it contains some memorable items that would be perfect to put with the DVD. Here is some of what I got to put in this gift.
Every movie has items in it that makes the movie memorable. Use your imagination with the things you can gift with the movie. Start with an idea for a container. If nothing comes to mind a basket or gift bag would work perfectly.
We all remember these items in Home Alone:

Businesses like to pay to have their products placed in movies. So, include them. It just shows your loved one that thought has been put into their gift.
