I have 3 girls and with those 3 girls come lots and lots of ideas on how to decorate their room and the most important part to me is the bed; it’s the focal point of the room! I saw this cute headboard from one day on Pinterest and I thought I had to do it!
I’ve been trying to get ready for an upcoming Fleattitude boutique and thought I would make some vintage inspired towels to include in my booth.
I’ve shared with you in a past post about my love of Osnaburg Fabric and have seen some awesome things made with it. So, I thought I would share what I’ve been making. If you are a beginning seamstress this would be a great project for you.
I cut the fabric into 20″x28″ pieces and sewed a rolled hem around the whole edge. To do this you simply fold the edge in about 1/4″ and then fold again. I’ve gotten to where I can do this without pressing it first, but if you are new at this I would press it. Once sewn I ironed the whole towel to remove any wrinkles.

I get asked all the time if I would decorate someone’s home or offer suggestions on what they should do in a room. I’m not an Interior Designer but through classes I’ve taken and experience I have come to love putting a room together. I love the challenge of doing a room inexpensively or with things I already have. So, I thought I would pass on advice I give to others. Of course, if there is anything I can do to help feel free to ask.

You know what you like. You know what is pleasing to your eye. If you aren’t quite sure what you want there are magazines, books, online designing sites, and Pinterest. Below are some samples of different styles:
