Washing dishes, laundry, cooking and cleaning play havoc on my hands. How about yours? I feel like I’m always fighting to keep my hands moisturized. Here’s an awesome sugar scrub that I use for my hands that not only removes dry skin, but moisturizes at the same time. I like to use it right after I was dishes while my hands are moist. This also makes a great gift, too.
Salt of the Earth Spa Skin Care Products
A few days ago we had the amazing opportunity to attend a blogger event at Salt of the Earth, a local Utah company who manufacture spa skin care products. We love supporting companies we believe in, especially when they’re local. We also love to hear stories about people who, through hard work and perseverance, take something small and turn it into a company they are proud of.

Gray Hair, Wrinkles, and My Turkey Neck
Watching myself get older is not a fun process. While I’m grateful for wisdom that only comes with age, for being healthy, for being in a place in my life that I really enjoy, and being proud of the children I raised and that are productive members of society, I don’t like the decline and loss my body is going through. What is with the jowls, the age spots, the thinning hair, arthritis, and the loss of skin tone? The other day I was even asked if I was a senior citizen. What!??? At that point I knew I had to do something. While it’s somewhat comforting to know that everyone goes through the same things I sometimes just wish I still had the appearance of my 21 year old self.
