  1. 1 1/2 lbs. hamburger
  2. 1 tsp. salt
  3. 20 saltine crackers, crushed
  4. 1/4 cup of milk
  5. 1/2 tsp. worchestershire sauce
  6. 2 Tbl. finely chopped onion
  7. 1 egg
  8. 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  9. 2 Tbl. corn starch
  10. 1/6 cup cider vinegar
  11. 1 Tbl. soy sauce
  12. 1 small green or yellow pepper, thinly sliced
  13. 1 13 oz. can of pineapple tidbits
  14. 1 cup of pineapple juice
  1. Combine first seven ingredients and shape into about 20 balls.
  2. Cook on medium heat, turning occasionally until brown about 20 minutes.
  3. Drain grease before adding meatballs to sauce.
  4. Mix brown sugar and corn starch in a skillet.
  5. Stir in pineapple with syrup, pineapple juice, vinegar, and soy sauce.
  6. Heat to boiling - stirring constantly. Reduce heat. Add meatballs.
  7. Cover and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  8. Stir in pepper. Cover and simmer until the peppers are crisp tender - about 10 minutes.
  9. Serve over rice.
