Chopped Salad

Every once in a while we love to have a big green salad as our dinner. It’s a nice change every once in a while. Have you ever heard of a chopped salad? I prefer it more than a regular salad that has large pieces of lettuce and other veggies with the dressing on top. I really like going to restaurants and cafes where I can go through a line and tell them what I want in my salad and then will chop everything up together just the way I like it.  Here’s how I make mine at home.

I will start by making a regular tossed salad with the things my family and I like in it. For this one I’ve added iceberg lettuce, broccoli, cucumber, garbanzo beans, and tomatoes.

Station Park Giveaway

Last week I was able to browse around a beautiful shopping/dining/entertainment center close to where I live. It’s truly a place that I could spend hours at shopping or watching a movie or two. For those that live in Utah or plan on visiting our lovely state soon I would highly recommend you visiting Station Park.
