It’s Day 7 and we are sharing Holiday Decor Ideas!
I love the look of country rustic decor. It’s such a comfortable and lived in look. That’s always been my goal with decorating. I want everyone who lives or visits here to feel right at home when they visit and not be afraid to touch anything. Since I live in a barn and cabin like country home this style fits right in. So, of course, the Christmas decor needs to be the same.
Since rustic decor includes woods, flannels, natural elements, galvanized items, and older things that’s what I look for when decorating for Christmas. First of all, I shopped the inside of my home and used a lot of what I already had like the rag rug and the old red toy truck.
My theme inside my home this year has been “Christmas Tree Lots”. It fits with my home and decor so thought I would continue it outside. I already had most of what I needed, but needed a few more trees so I picked up a few more to add to my collection.
I love the look of red, green, black, and gray together, so to keep everything cohesive that’s how I decorated from pillows, throws, poinsettias, and Christmas items.
I’m very fortunate to have a large front porch. It was always my dream to have one, but if I had a small space I would still add bits and pieces of this look where I could.
If nothing else adding a wreath of some kind can add so much and give a Christmas welcome to anyone who comes.
I love how everything has turned out on my porch and how homey it feels. I hope it gives you some ideas or inspiration to decorate your front porch no matter what style you like.

Love your front porch!! All the trees look amazing and it feels so welcoming. I love the vintage truck and checkerboard. Checkers always remind me of my grandpa, he taught me how to play. 🙂
