What’s Halloween without treats? To me that’s a big part of the fun. Here’s an idea for a party you might be having or for those special people in your life.
Adam’s Family is a perfect family Halloween movie to watch. I grew up watching the old black and white TV show and love all the different characters. Lurch is one of those characters. He’s tall, quiet, and the family butler. When I saw these tuxedo boxes at the dollar store I immediately thought of Lurch and came up with a Halloween treat box.
The boxes come in a 10 pack and with all the treats you can find in the dollar store you can make each box for pennies. Here’s what I did:
I found an image of Lurch’s face when I googled his images. Here a pdf of several if you would like to use the image I found.
Cut them out and glue them to the front of the box as shown. Lurch is known for saying “You Rang” when he silently came into the room, so I added a little tag saying that. I simply punched a hole in the box and tied it on with some black and white twine.
Fill your boxes with goodies and you’re going to be a hit at any Halloween event you have.
