I don’t like to spend a bunch of time in the kitchen but it’s one of those necessary things. Most everything I make is easy and quick and this recipe fall under that category. This Cheesy Stuffed Shells recipe is perfect for an extra special dinner, too.
- 1/2 Box Jumbo Pasta Shells
- 1 Jar of Marinara Sauce
- 2 Tbl. Water
- 1 1/3 Cup of Ricotta Cheese
- 8 oz. Softened Cream Cheese
- 1 1/2 Cups Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 2 Cups Grated Mozzarella Cheese
- 1 Tbl. Garlic Salt
- 4 Tbl. Chopped Fresh Parsley
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Cook jumbo shells in boiling salted water for 9 minutes. Drain and set aside to cool.
- Mix together ricotta, cream cheese, half of parmesan cheese, and half of mozzarella cheese, parsley, and garlic salt.
- Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. Mix half the marinara sauce and the water in the bottom of the dish.
- Fill the shells with the cheese mixture and place them open size up into the baking dish.
- Cover with the remaining marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, and parmesan cheese.
- Bake covered for 30 minutes.
- Let sit for 10 minutes.
