Chair Redo

Happy Veterans Day!  I’m so grateful for my Dad, Uncles, and Brother in Law who served our country and also the sacrifice of their families. As an Army Brat myself I know what that sacrifice is all about.

I’m in the process of decorating my son’s nursery.  I found this chair a while ago and it needed some TLC bad.

I needed a chair for his room.  I wanted a rocker, but for now this will work.

I found the fabric on clearance and it only took 2 yards to do the whole thing.

I took off the arms and legs and started covering the sides first then I did the back and worked my way to the front.

I am lucky that this chair had such straight lines, it made it so much easier to do.

I will post more when I finish the room!

  4. It’s great to watch you revive this old chair — the new fabric and how you cleaned each part all look beautiful! I’d love to try repurposing old furniture for my baby’s room too!
