Starting as a child, through my growing years and still today I have loved playing and crafting with wood pieces. It started with popsicle sticks and clothespins and little bags of wood turning pieces found in the craft store. So today for my ornament idea I thought I would bring out the wood pieces and create clothespin snowflake ornaments. I love creating and painting on wood. One fun thing I like doing is seeing what kinds of things I can make from wood turnings found at your local craft stores like tongue depressor sticks, stars, dowels, etc. Have you ever put a bunch of popsicle sticks in front of a group of kids? Their imagination just takes off.
I’m adoring all the wood slice crafts I’m seeing. I’m a big fan of the rustic vibe they give. To me the ideas go perfect with Thanksgiving decor. Here’s a roundup of ideas I’ve found.
