Switching It Up With TRESemmé

OK all you ladies out there that have thin hair like I do. We need to have a chat! I have a problem. My hair is so thin that I have a hard time keeping any volume and fullness in it. I tease and tease and hairspray and tease which I know isn’t helping me any, but what do you do? Do you have the same issue? Please tell me I’m not the only one.

This is my go-to hairstyle, look at all the dryness and flyaways!! UGH!

Recently, I was introduced to the TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Collection , a reverse wash system. Now, let me tell you I was skeptical at first! They want me to use the conditioner first!? Huh? There is no way! After shampooing I look forward to conditioning my hair in the shower and the feel of smooth silky hair, at least for that minute because I’ll be honest my hair NEVER stays that way!

Well, I tried it. I conditioned first and was scrubbing my head with the Pre-wash conditioner thinking this is not going to work! My hair feels dirtier than when I started! But, I rinsed that out and shampooed! THE SHAMPOO ladies!! Holy cow I cannot say enough good things about it! I scrubbed it through my hair and even before I started to rinse it out I could tell that my hair felt silky and smooth and tingly! I rinsed it out and my scalp felt clean, but my hair was smooth! So weird right, but doing it this way makes total sense when you think about it. Using conditioner last can and did weigh my hair down.

After combing out my hair I added some TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Hair Maximizer and worked that into my hair.

After blow drying I had so much volume!! PLUS no flyaways like I usually do! I usually need to add some serum to calm down my pesky little hairs that don’t want to cooperate, but I didn’t need to this time. Look!!

I curled my hair and I didn’t even need to tease!! Guys! That is huge for me! I finished with a little of the Flexible Finish Hairspray which I felt like I didn’t really need, but ya know habits are hard to break.

Throughout the day my hair did stay silky smooth when normally it becomes really stringy and flat and I hate it. I felt like my hair stayed the way I wanted it to. No more reapplying hairspray or just throwing it up into my go to messy bun. It was lovely.

Overall I am so happy with the product! I felt like it delivered what was promised and then some!

P.S. I also tried this on my three girls because they have such tender heads when I try to brush through their hair. Using the TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Collections required no detangler and I had no tears or complaints from them. I was able to style their hair and it stayed nice and soft throughout the day.

I’m sold! If you want to learn more go to the TRESemme website and also watch this video!
