Here’s a fun little tip if you’re planning a party…

There’s nothing that creates a feeling of celebration more than a bunch of balloons don’t you think? To make them look even more amazing how about adding some streamers. I did this easily and inexpensively by using plastic tablecloths.

While the tablecloth is still folded cut one inch strips. I used a rotary cutter but you could use scissors.

If you use a rotary cutter I found it easier to hold the bottom edge and then cut.

Table Cover Streamers

Once I have all the colors I want cut I gather them and tie the ends altogether into one knot. I then stapled the knot to the knot in the balloon being careful to staple below the knot in the balloon. I made a group of streamers for each balloon and found that using more than four or five streamers per balloon can weigh the balloon down.

I love the look of balloons and hope this gives you ideas when you have a celebration. The possibilities are endless with a cheap plastic tablecloth.
