How is it Fall again?? I’ve always been one to think that times goes by quickly, but the older I get the faster it goes. It seriously feels like we just celebrated Halloween and Thanksgiving a month ago. I’m OK with that, though, because I love, love, love this time of year.
For my Fall decorating I decided to start with my table and join this Fall Tablescape blog hop. Myself and seven other talented women have come together to share a variety of Fall Tablescape Ideas. Check them out below and then continue reading to see what I came up with.

Last year I went with all earth tones as you can see here.
This year I decided to go with some color. Recently I received a beautiful green table runner from burlapfabric.com and decided to use that as a jumping off piece.
I started looking for color combinations that would go with this green and looks Fallish. I decided to go with yellow and brown with just a touch of orange. I then found these gorgeous placemats that aren’t specifically Fall, but exactly what I was looking for and knew would work.
The base was set with a double layer of table runners, the placemats, and some wood look chargers I found at hobbylobby.com for $1.99. I added yellow plates and white salad plates I already had. The glasses are vintage and I’ve never used them on a tablescape before. I love what they add.
I love mixing patterns and found the buffalo plaid napkins to mix things up a little. I’m happy with how they look with the placemats and the bonus is that I can use both year round.
The baby pumpkins are from the Dollar Tree. They were a bit shiny and not realistic so I painted them with orange acrylic paint.
For the centerpiece I painted an old wood plank yellow to add some interest and height to the middle of the table. I was looking to go for a slightly rustic and woodsy look and this helped with that. I’ve had a collection of vintage amber glass bottles that I thought would be perfect to add along the board. The olive branches and fall sprays added the final touch.
I’m really happy with how it turned out. It’s not something I’ve ever seen or done before and it fits in great with my cabin style home. What do you think?
We would really appreciate your pins to share this Fall tablescape.
I love it!! The amber bottles in your centerpiece with the olive leaves and spray in them are beautiful! Those place mats are adorable! I love to find an inspiration piece like that to draw my colors from. Then I know the colors look good together. π
Those placemats are so adorable! And the love the auburn vases you used for a centerpiece – it pulls everything together so nicely π

I love everything about this tablescape. It’s so natural and beautiful. Those brown bottles are perfect! Reminds me of my Dad’s bottle collection. I love how you used the wood plank for the centerpiece and those green buffalo check napkins are so pretty with your fall colors. I really like how you used fall colors but the orange is not too much. I paint those Dollar Tree pumpkins too because they are indeed too shiny. Pinned it.
