I’m starting to make plans for Thanksgiving. Are you? I love finding a new recipe or two to add to our traditional menu and ideas to decorate our Thanksgiving table.
Recently, I was given the opportunity to participate in a challenge, The Thankful Challenge. I jumped at the chance because I had a fun idea for a bread basket I planned on using for our Thanksgiving. But, now I can share it with all of you. Here’s what I made. An interchangeable DIY lined bread basket.
We recently moved into a new home and even though I would love to be able buy new furniture for the whole place I just can’t afford doing that. I do have some great pieces of furniture like this buffet and it’s been fun to makeover the look of what I already have to fit into the farmhouse theme I’m going for.
Recently there was a challenge put out on a fun DIY group I’m a part of to use a new product called Diva of DIY Chalk Mix on a piece of our choice. Since I’m in the throws of decorating I jumped at the chance, plus I love trying out new products.

In my new home I have a large fireplace and mantel that I just love, but that’s where the TV is, too. I like that the TV and fireplace can both be the centerpiece of the room, but it’s hard to decorate a mantel around a TV. So, I’ve been checking around the web for some decorating options for this area.
