Our Guest Post at The Best Blog Recipes

We had an awesome opportunity to guest post over at The Best Blog Recipes.  I love the concept behind this blog.  Shauna scopes all the best recipe blogs and re-posts the very best and favorite recipes out there.  That keeps me from having to spend a huge amount of time hunting for great recipes.

We shared a family favorite of ours; a delectable and rich cake with caramel sauce.

Just in case you didn’t see our guest post we wanted to pass it along to you.  You can find the recipe here.

Hope you are enjoying your summer.  It’s hot here today!

Dru About Dru

There are so many things I could say but I will just start with the basics. Mother to 4. Grandmother to 11 (Yes, 11. All under the age of 9.) I am a former Army wife and we spent 15 years traveling around the world. It was such a thrill to have seen so many places and meeting lifetime friends. I spent many years working in the craft industry and love getting together with friends and creating. I have a lifelong love of thrift shops, antiques, and yard sales.

  1. What is bottled fruit

    • Hello,

If you do any bottling of fresh fruit like peaches or pears you can use a quart jar of any fruit. If you don’t bottle fruit then you can use one large and one small can of fruit found at the grocery store.

  2. I just joined the forum so there are so many things I don’t know yet, I hope to have the help of the boards, and I really want to get to know you all on the forum

  3. A rich chocolate cake. Chocolate cake is something I really enjoy. It has a great flavor.

  4. That cake looks so good. I like sweet cakes a lot.
