Iron Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookie

Iron Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookies

OK, you all! I have found my new favorite dessert! I’ve never been able to make a good chocolate chip cookie. For some reason no matter what I do they come out flat. Lately, I’ve been putting my dough in an iron skillet and baking it that way and WOW! The crispy and melt in your mouth goodness can’t be defined. The chocolate chips kind of settle towards the bottom of the pan and the cookie dough crisps on the top and is soft and scrumptious underneath. The skillet is the secret, plus the huge bonus is that it’s so easy. No having to bake multiple cookie sheets full of cookies. Here’s my recipe:

Iron Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookies
A crispy crust with a soft, melt in your mouth middle is what makes this cookie so amazing.

  2. YUM! I will have to find our cast iron skillet and give this a try. I’ve never had a skillet cookie before. Looks amazing.

  3. This looks delicious, and so much easier than making a bunch of cookies. I can’t wait to try it. I’m thinking I’ll add ice-cream on top and make it like a pizzookie from BJs. Thanks!
