I don’t consider myself an amazing cook, but I like trying new things and challenging myself to improve. I’ve always wondered if I would have any chance in a cooking contest. When I saw this competition announced I jumped at the chance. The scary thing was that a mystery product was going to be sent to me and I would have to use it to create something delicious. Ha! When I got the product in the mail I thought and thought and did some research on Colman’s Mustard. I had heard of them before, but had never tried the product. I learned this English product goes way back to the 1800’s and is considered “The Queen’s Mustard”. The taste is amazing but what I enjoyed more was how smooth it is.

I’ve been trying to think ahead for the holidays and putting together some yummy meals and treats for my family. Buffet meals always work well for our big group. We usually stick to some well known food bar ideas including:
