  • 8 slices bacon
  • 6 links sausage
  • 1 package frozen Potatoes O'Brien
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 3 Tbl. Oil
  • 1 package breakfast gravy optional

  1. Cook bacon and sausage on medium heat in a fry pan. Drain on paper towels and let cool.

  2. Add potatoes to pan in an even layer and let cook through on medium high heat approximately 10-15 minutes. Turn half way through.

  3. While the potatoes are cooking whisk the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Set aside.

  4. Crumble the bacon and cut the sausage into smaller pieces.

  5. Once the potatoes are cooked lower the heat to medium low and add the meat and the egg mixture. Stir regularly until the eggs are scrambled and the ingredients are mixed through.

  6. Mix in the cheese and add seasonings to taste. We like to use a seasoning salt and garlic powder.

  7. If you want to make your own gravy drain the drippings from the pan after cooking the bacon and sausage. You will want to add approximately 3 Tbl. of oil to the pan instead of the drippings to cook the potatoes.

  8. (Optional) Topping with breakfast gravy gives it a great taste and adds some moisture. You can use a gravy mix like pictured.
