Valentine Candy Arrow Supplies

Candy Arrow Supplies

    • Roll of Lifesavers (Can find at your local drugstores or on Amazon.)
    • Wooden Skewer
    • Chocolate Hearts
    • Crepe Paper
    • Tape
    • Printable (optional)

Valentine Candy Arrow Directions

If you are using cherry Lifesavers you might not want to use a label to cover it. The red color would be perfect alone. If using other flavors you might want to use this printable.

Valentine Arrow Printable

Cut out the printable labels and attach to the Lifesaver roll starting with the side of the printable with the most white space.

Wrapping a Lifesaver Pack

Continue rolling the label around and taping the other side down.

Valentine Lifesavers

Insert a wooden skewer through the middle of the Lifesaver roll to make a hole.

Heat the tip of the skewer on your stove so that it will push easily into the top of the chocolate heart.

Quickly and carefully insert it into the chocolate.  Let cool.

Carefully slide the roll of Lifesavers onto your skewer and push it up to the chocolate heart.

Cut two to three inches off the end of the skewer.  The wood cuts fairly easily with scissors.

To make the feather on the end cut a 10 inch piece of red crepe paper. Fold it in half and cut 1/2″ to 3/4″ slits on one side all the way across.

Tape one edge of the crepe paper to the end of the skewer.

Start rolling the crepe paper around the skewer gradually rolling towards the Lifesaver roll.

When you’re done rolling tape the end in place and fluff up the crepe paper.

That’s it.  So easy and so cute. Don’t Valentine’s Day, candy, and arrows all go together?

We would love for you to pin this project for us.

Dru About Dru

There are so many things I could say but I will just start with the basics. Mother to 4. Grandmother to 11 (Yes, 11. All under the age of 9.) I am a former Army wife and we spent 15 years traveling around the world. It was such a thrill to have seen so many places and meeting lifetime friends. I spent many years working in the craft industry and love getting together with friends and creating. I have a lifelong love of thrift shops, antiques, and yard sales.
