Table Scapes

I recently volunteered to decorate a table for my church’s women’s activity.

Can I just tell you how hard a time I had trying to decide what I wanted on the table!!

Holy crap there are SO many ideas and tons of inspiration out there! (What did we do without Pinterest!?)

I decided on something kinda simple. I didn’t want to break the bank on this after all.

I apologize for the awful pictures!

(Church lighting doesn’t do it for me I guess.)

I started with a chevron black and white table runner, I scalloped along the edges just for more effect.

Then I added the pinky red place mats to the middle and my flowers.

I ended up using half real flowers and half fake flowers. I am kinda limited to selection in my town so I did this with what I could.

Next I framed this cute printable I found here 

and added some candlesticks and candy to the center.

For the place settings I found 14 inch doilies at my local fabric store and then layered on my plate, salad plate and bowl on top. I then placed the fork, spoon and knife on the napkin and tied it with some gold ribbon and placed a real tulip with it, too.

The last thing I did was sprinkle some large gold glitter dots around the table.

I really loved it and it turned out really well.

I wish the pictures would do it justice.
