All you need is:

  • Roll of Lifesavers
  • Wooden Skewer
  • Chocolate Hearts
  • Washi Tape

Start by heating the tip of the skewer so that it will push easily into the top of the chocolate heart.

Quickly and carefully insert it into the chocolate.  Let cool.

Carefully slide the roll of Lifesavers onto your skewer and push it up to the chocolate heart.

Cut two to three inches off the end of the skewer.  The wood cuts easily with scissors.  Add pieces of Washi tape to the end by folding the tape in half around the skewer.  Cut notches into the ends of the tape.

That’s it.  So easy and so cute.

Dru About Dru

There are so many things I could say but I will just start with the basics. Mother to 4. Grandmother to 11 (Yes, 11. All under the age of 9.) I am a former Army wife and we spent 15 years traveling around the world. It was such a thrill to have seen so many places and meeting lifetime friends. I spent many years working in the craft industry and love getting together with friends and creating. I have a lifelong love of thrift shops, antiques, and yard sales.
