Gah!! Not gonna lie it makes me nervous to have over 1000 people in the world reading about us and our lives and adventures, I really hope you like what you see and decide to stick around!
So I know I am a little late in posting this but I had to share how amazing my wonderful husband is! I really have got a good one!
This last mothers day my husband surprised me with this!
It’s not often that I get surprised but man he did it with this!!
He wasn’t sure what to get me this year, so ladies HE WENT THROUGH MY PINS ON PINTEREST!!
I kid you not!!
He found this from Shanty 2 Chic that I had pinned awhile ago and he made it!
I love love love it!! And it has been full of fresh flowers since!
He says that it is so easy to make and it only cost him about $10 to make.
You can follow Shanty2Chic’s tutorial which is very easy to follow. My husband did make a few changes to ours; he used 1×3’s instead of 1×4’s and he made it 30 inches long and 8 3/4 high with 1 and 3/8’s holes in the top. He found some Mexican soda bottles and just peeled off the labels and made sure the bottles sat 1/2 inch below the holes in the boards so you don’t see them peeking up from the top.
I am so thankful to have my hubby know me so well to do this for me and I just love him to pieces!
Ok, I’m done being cheesy and have to get back to real life of dirty diapers and endless loads of laundry!
