Since today is Valentine’s Day we thought it would be fun to reminisce about our weddings and want to include you on our trip back in time.
Brittany’s wedding was on a beautiful June day and had a vintage 40’s vibe. Her reception was held at Thanksgiving Point. Brittany’s husband loves fireworks and Brittany surprised him with a firework show at the end of the reception.
I just pulled small clips from Brittany’s wedding video, so that’s why the music sounds crazy. Sorry.
Jessica’s wedding was on a rainy day in April (They say that rain on your wedding day brings good luck!). The rain cleared by the evening and the reception was held at Eldredge Manor. Jessica’s husband is the Dukes of Hazard’s number one fan. She surprised him with a ride to their hotel in a Dodge Charger.
Ashley’s celebrated her day at the Officer’s Quarters at Ft. Douglas. It was an incredible day. Ashley’s husband was active duty Army at the time of their wedding. She surprised him with a day driving a Hummer. (Unfortunately most of her wedding pictures are with her in Kansas and we will get those up on the blog soon.)
Ha! Finally mine. I was married on a beautiful Fall day. My reception was at the Lion House.
My twin brother was on an LDS mission so he’s missing. So sad!
Thanks for coming along. We hope you are all feeling loved on this special day.
DRU!
What an awesome post and look how gorgeous of a bride you were! So fun to see these pictures. Your girls are beautiful.:)
Marci, thanks so much. It was so fun to look back. It’s hard to believe that I’ve been married over 32 years. Where does the time go?
Cute Idea! It was fun to watch the wedding video and see how small the kids were!
MaryBeth, it was fun to watch Dave and Brittany’s video again. Time sure has flown by.
How fun!! It was so cute seeing all your photos!
Each one has its own unique touch but I must say the surprise elements added a special charm. Loved the vintage vibe in Brittany the Dukes of Hazard twist in Jessica the military connection in Ashley and your fall wedding at the Lion House sounds magical.
