Daddy Week

With Father’s Day in a few days we are celebrating Dads of all kinds this week. We hope you have some amazing father figures in your life.

This week we are sharing a few gift ideas and today is a fun one that all kids will love. Don’t you think every dad needs an air freshener in their cars. I know mine does. Here’s how we made ours.

Some additional ideas:

  • Paint your wood pieces with water colors, markers, or food coloring to add more color. I don’t suggest acrylics, oils, or crayons because the oil will not soak into the wood.
  • Single wood pieces also make great air fresheners. No need to always use multiple pieces.
  • For wood pieces that need holes use a drill or heavy duty hole punch.
  • The best thing is that you can continue to apply the oil when the scent fades.

Have fun!

Dru About Dru

There are so many things I could say but I will just start with the basics. Mother to 4. Grandmother to 11 (Yes, 11. All under the age of 9.) I am a former Army wife and we spent 15 years traveling around the world. It was such a thrill to have seen so many places and meeting lifetime friends. I spent many years working in the craft industry and love getting together with friends and creating. I have a lifelong love of thrift shops, antiques, and yard sales.
