Do you mind if we have an online therapy session? I want to talk about something personal and at times scary. Having Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) the last five years has been a struggle. It’s embarrassing, life changing, and exhausting. I don’t talk much about it to anyone because of the nature of the disease and I don’t want to make anyone feel uncomfortable, but I feel a need to share some of what I experience so I can talk to others who might suffer or educate those who don’t have any experience with IBS.

Creative Ice Cube Hacks

I don’t know if I’m just trying to cool down from this hot summer or what, but I am really intrigued by the ideas I found using ice trays and freezing different things for your everyday use. These are just a few of the Creative Ice Cube Hacks I found.

I love the relief aloe vera gives on my sunburns, but a frozen aloe vera cube sounds so soothing and exactly what a sunburn needs, a cooling of that hot skin.

May is National Mental Health

There are so many people who struggle with mental illness and our family has been hit in a big way by the effects of it. Our son and brother, Jeremy, suffered with Bi-Polar Depression and eventually took his life. You can read our story here. Here’s an awesome sugar scrub that I use for my hands that not only removes dry skin, but moisturizes at the same time. I like to use it right after I was dishes while my hands are moist.
