Stars & Stripes Jello Salad

I love this time of year! Family, Fireworks, Freedom, and Food! Here’s a fun salad perfect for the 4th of July, my stars and stripes jello salad.
This salad is perfect for the 4th of July and includes raspberry and blueberry jellos, blueberries, raspberries, vanilla yogurt, gelatin, heavy whipping cream, sugar, and whipped topping.

Ingredients
  1. 3 oz package berry blue jello
  2. 2 cups boiling water, divided
  3. 2 1/2 cups cold water, divided
  4. 1 pkg. unflavored gelatin
  5. 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  6. 4 TBL Sugar
  7. 2 cups vanilla yogurt
  8. 1 cup blueberries
  9. 1 3 oz package raspberry jello
  10. 1 cup raspberries
  11. whipped topping and fruit to garnish
Instructions
  1. Prepare berry blue jello as directed on package. Pour into a clear serving dish and chill for one hour.
  2. In the mean time, pour 1/2 cup water into a saucepan and sprinkle the unflavored gelatin on top. Let sit for 15 minutes.
  3. Add the cream and sugar to the gelatin mixture. Heat on medium low heat until the sugar and gelatin is dissolved. Cool until room temperature.
  4. Add vanilla yogurt and blueberries to the mixture and pour onto the solid blue jello.
  5. Let chill until set.
  6. Prepare raspberry jello as directed on the package. Add the raspberries and pour onto set white layer. Chill.
  7. Top with whipped topping and fruit.
  8. Enjoy!
